This small canvas stayed in my studio for almost three months. I began with a white textured structure, but somehow, it never felt complete. I knew it needed something more, something that would give the surface a sense of depth and character.
Then I found the answer in the contrast between raw concrete and the subtle shine of silver. And so, «Seaside 925» was born.
The piece combines a cool, industrial concrete texture with 925 silver tones and natural seashells collected along the southern coast of Norway. The shells bring an organic, imperfect beauty to the composition, creating a quiet connection between the rawness of stone and the softness of the sea.
A small piece, but with a story, a place and a piece of the Norwegian coastline within it.
